van rallyin' and Life is Good 2!

Whoa! What a weekend it was! Started Saturday off bright and early down at Red Bull Open ice, it was pretty ill. A team from Minnesota rep'd well and took the top spot over all the other teams, I spent the day helpin' set up the after party spot with the local crew...we had to carry a couple hundred pound DJ stand up a couple flights of stairs because it didn't fit in the damn elevator. Note to builders: Next time measure some shit out and stick some wheels on it so its easier to move, damn!. Spent Saturday evening runnin' the drunk bus for the hockey players. So rad. If they'd never been scared in a shuttle bus they sure as hell have been now! hahaha. I put my cat like reflexes to work along with my ability to hammer on the gas harded then a nascar driver to get the athletes back and forth as fast as possible cuz we all now time is money! hahaha. A couple close calls with some buses, a ped or tw, ando we had ourselves one hell of a good time! New York team was a riot mooning every car we were next too! To much that crew was, I even got a 4:30am wake up call from them. Thanks guys! (Buck flippin' the middle finger, hahahaha)

Sunday morning started bright and early at 6:30am, rallied some Red Bull up to Pugfest a XC mountain bike race run on a track groomed to a snowy perfection by Dirtwirx the trail crew at Hillside Park, Elk River, MN. Wanna see some crazy athletes, that's the place to go! Such a cool event! From there I headed to the Miller's complex. They have transformed their yard into a one of a kind winch playground. After doing a single test run on all the features with the Red Bull winch we decided everything was good to go for the contest. We headed inside to get some grub! Thanks to George for wippin' up some great scrambled eggs and toast, that was clutch after almost no sleep! We headed back outside got the course all dialed in and groomed up and got to winchin'. Illest day I've spent on the winch in a long time. Riders were slayiin' the course! Riders with a wake background definitely had an advantage. A cat named JD was doin' the raddest tantrums over the big gapper, Josh Tranby was slayin' the mulit feature. Check the video that WCCO put on the TV.
